Cedar Creek Fire Department was established in 1857 covering only
about 50 acres. That has now grown to about 30 square miles. The department started with a horse
drawn wagon and a handful of volunteers. Today the CCFD has over 40 active volunteers and now has 15 pieces
of equipment.
